The BD 1061716 is a deep transmission pan for an E4OD, a 4R100, and a 5R110W. It adds about 6 quarts over the stock pan. The extra fluid and the cooling fins are what drop the temperature.

The pan is cast aluminum, so it also stiffens the case. A magnetic drain plug, an O-ring, and the bolts are in the box. A temperature-sender port is already tapped. Torque the pan bolts to 9 lb-ft and the drain plug to 20. A 5R110 needs the deep filter, Motorcraft FT-180, which is not in the kit. A 4R100 uses the 4x4 filter, FT-114.

It fits 1989–2010 Powerstroke trucks with an E4OD, 4R100, or 5R110W, including an Excursion.

Check ground clearance on a lowered truck. Fill a few quarts at a time and check it warm. A 6R140 and a 10R140 are different pans.
