KC Turbos 300109 Billet Unison Ring — 6.0 Powerstroke / LLY / LBZ
This upgraded KC Turbos 300109 billet unison ring is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory VGT on 2003–2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke and 2004.5–2007 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY and LBZ turbos.
It is machined from high-quality billet stainless steel so it resists corrosion in the exhaust housing. The ring is also sized slightly larger than stock to cut the slop that lets the OEM unison ring wear, go out of round, and hang the vanes.
The unison ring is the part that moves every VGT vane together. When the factory ring rusts or develops play, the vanes stick, boost control falls off, the turbo can surge, and the VGT solenoid works harder than it should. That shows up as weak power, poor towing, and worse fuel economy.
The KC 300109 ring is built to stay tighter, keep vane movement consistent, and help the turbo respond the way it should while taking strain off the solenoid.
No machining or modifications are required. It drops into the stock center housing. For the upgrade to last, clean rust from the bearing housing and turbine housing before install, inspect the unison-ring arm and vanes, and replace worn hardware as needed.
This is a DIY component and does not include a warranty.
