The KC 302524 is the KC300x Gen 3 Stage 2 turbo for a late-1999 through 2003 7.3 Powerstroke. It is a drop-in for a Super Duty pickup. No pedestal or up-pipe changes.

The compressor is a Gen 3 7x7 SXE wheel in a 0.70 A/R ported cover with an anti-surge ring. The turbine is a thick-shaft SXE wheel in a 0.91 A/R wastegated housing. KC uses that housing to spool faster than the old .84 and flow more than the old 1.0. The thrust and journal bearings are the larger Gen 3 set. A high-flow non-EBPV outlet and a round-top wastegate are on it. Gaskets and a 4-inch intake boot are included. KC recommends it for 205/30 through 238/80 injectors. Smaller injectors belong on the Stage 1. The Stage 3 is the one rated toward 250 cc.

It will not fit an early 1999 or an OBS truck without modification. A van can take it, but the intake boot and the downpipe have to be reworked.

This is a complete turbo. A tune belongs with it. A stock file will not use the air this housing can move.
