Give your 1994–1997 7.3L Powerstroke OBS truck the clutch it deserves. The South Bend 1944-5OFEK is a complete Stage 3 performance clutch kit that replaces the factory dual-mass flywheel and weak stock clutch with a durable single-mass flywheel and a high-torque OFE (Organic/Feramic) disc.
Rated for 475 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque with up to 25,000 lb towing capacity, this kit is ideal for modified OBS trucks that see street use, heavy towing, or performance upgrades.
South Bend’s signature OFE hybrid disc combines one side organic facing for smooth, street-friendly engagement with a feramic side for serious holding power. You get the best of both worlds — drivability without the chatter or harshness of a full-ceramic clutch, and the strength needed when you add power or tow heavy.
This complete kit includes:

Not recommended for completely stock trucks. This is a performance clutch designed for modified engines or trucks that tow regularly.
Break-In Recommendation: Perform 500 miles of varied stop-and-go driving before towing or putting heavy loads on the clutch. Avoid excessive downshifting — use your brakes instead to extend clutch life.
