The KC Turbos 10 Blade Turbine Wheel is a balanced, drop-in 66mm turbine wheel for turbo-year 2003 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke turbos, built on KC's high-flow 10-blade design. It flows more exhaust, reduces EGTs and adds top-end performance, while delivering the famous 2003 6.0L whistle.

Where the whistle comes from.

The classic 6.0L whistle doesn't come from the compressor wheel or silencer ring. It comes from the turbine side of the turbo. The 2003 6.0L used a 10-blade turbine wheel, and in 2004 Ford switched to a 13-blade wheel, which quieted the sound. KC's drop-in 10-blade wheel was engineered to fit the later turbine housings and recreate that iconic whistle.

More than just sound.

The 10-blade design moves more exhaust, especially when combined with performance tuning and larger injectors. That means lower exhaust gas temperatures, quicker boost and more power on the top end.

What Problem Does This Solve?

• A quiet turbo after the 2004 change. Many 6.0L owners miss the signature 2003 whistle. This wheel brings it back on a later turbo without buying a whole new turbocharger.
• High EGTs on modified trucks. As power increases, exhaust flow can become a restriction. The 10-blade wheel flows more exhaust, helping keep EGTs in check.
• An affordable turbo upgrade. If you're already rebuilding your stock turbo, swapping in a 10-blade wheel adds flow and sound for a fraction of the cost of a complete performance turbo.

64mm or 66mm?

KC offers this wheel in two sizes because the factory 6.0L turbine wheel size varies by turbo year. Match the wheel to turbo year, not truck build date: 2003–2004 = 66mm (300281 / 300014); 2005–2007 = 64mm (300249). If you're not sure, contact us with your turbo's part number before ordering.

Add a Rebuild Kit

Since the turbo has to be torn down to install the wheel, it's the perfect time to replace bearings and seals. Add a rebuild kit to complete the job in one step.

Important: DIY Installation

This is a DIY component for experienced turbo builders. Installation requires disassembling and rebuilding your turbo. KC does not provide step-by-step instructions for DIY parts, and DIY products are not covered under warranty. If you're not comfortable rebuilding a turbo, consider a complete KC turbo with a 10-blade wheel already installed, or have a turbo shop perform the work.

Fits turbo-year 2003 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke turbos (66mm turbine). 2004 turbos use KC 300014 (66mm); 2005–2007 turbos use the 64mm wheel (KC 300249). Truck manufacture date is NOT the same as turbo year — check your turbo before ordering.
