The PowerMax comes from the factory with a cast compressor wheel that spools slowly, contributes to high EGTs and leaves power on the table. KC's drop-in 63.5mm single-plane GTX-style billet wheel fixes all of that.

What Problem Does This Solve?

• Slow PowerMax spool. The PowerMax's factory cast wheel is known for slow spool. The KC billet wheel sharpens response for quicker boost.
• High EGTs. The factory wheel's inefficiency contributes to high exhaust temperatures. The billet wheel moves air more efficiently to help keep EGTs down.
• Unrealized power. The cast wheel holds the PowerMax back from what it's capable of. Upgrading the compressor wheel unlocks more of the turbo's potential without buying a new turbo.

Important: DIY Installation

This is a DIY component for experienced turbo builders. Installation requires removing the compressor housing and swapping the wheel. DIY products are not covered under warranty. If you're not comfortable working on turbos, have a turbo shop perform the installation.

Fitment

Fits Garrett PowerMax turbos on 2003–2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke trucks only. It will not fit stock 6.0L turbos. For stock turbos, see the KC Billet Compressor Wheel (300128).
