7.3 Powerstroke Non-EBPV Turbo Pedestal | Garrett 700296-0007

Replace a leaking early-99 turbo pedestal without the factory exhaust back-pressure valve actuator. Garrett 700296-0007 is a genuine blank / non-EBPV pedestal for early 1999 7.3 Powerstroke trucks built on or before 12/7/1998. It bolts in place of the stock pedestal, removes the actuator-rod leak point, and works with the factory turbo or common drop-in GTP38R-style chargers. Pair it with a non-EBPV high-flow outlet or a gutted stock outlet if the butterfly is still in the exhaust housing.

Does not fit 1994–1997 OBS or 1999.5–2003 trucks. Late 99.5–03 non-EBPV pedestals use Garrett 702670-0002. Early 99 trucks have 2-inch reducing intake boots; 1999.5–03 trucks use 3-inch straight boots.

Removing the EBPV actuator can set a PCM code when the truck looks for the solenoid.The butterfly in the stock outlet must still be gutted or replaced with a non-EBPV outlet for a complete delete. If an early-99 7.3 is leaking oil at the pedestal actuator, the Garrett 700296-0007 non-EBPV pedestal is the blank replacement built for that year.
