The CSF 7107 is a heavy-duty intercooler for a 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke. It is the bar-and-plate core. The OEM-style tube-and-fin replacement is 6017. The pipes are not included.
The core is about 29.75 inches by 18 inches by 2 inches, with cast aluminum end tanks and 3-3/8-inch inlets. It is TIG welded and pressure tested past 120 psi. CSF lists about 20 percent more flow than the factory tube-and-fin core, and it holds heat better on a long pull. It drops into the factory mounts, so the stock boots, brackets, and pipes stay.
It fits 1999–2003 Super Duty 7.3 trucks.
Fitment
- 1999–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
- Bar-and-plate core
- Cast aluminum end tanks
- Pressure tested past 120 psi
- Drop-in, factory mounts
- Pipes not included
A leaking stock core is what the 6017 replaces. This one is the upgrade for a tuned truck or a bigger turbo. The boots still have to seal.
