Atlas 232-9903 – 7.3 Powerstroke Bellowed Up Pipes & Pedestal Delete Kit

Eliminate two of the most common problem areas on the 1999.5–2003 7.3L Powerstroke with one complete kit. The Atlas 232-9903 combines high-quality bellowed up pipes with a non-EBPV turbo pedestal and exhaust adapter flange for a permanent, leak-free upgrade.

    Why This Kit?

Factory up pipes rely on a donut gasket and compression ring that eventually fail, causing ticking through the firewall, boost loss, and excessive black smoke. At the same time, the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve (EBPV) is a frequent source of oil leaks down the back of the engine. This kit solves both issues at once.

The bellowed up pipes feature an expandable section that absorbs heat expansion and contraction, maintaining a permanent seal without the factory gasket design. The non-EBPV pedestal completely removes the warm-up valve, stopping oil leaks and improving exhaust flow for better turbo response and free-flowing power. Deleting the EBPV is a common, proven modification that does not affect normal drivability (it may set a soft code that does not illuminate the check engine light).

    Kit Contents

    • Atlas bellowed up pipes (aluminized steel)
    • Non-EBPV (deleted) turbo pedestal
    • Deleted/high-flow exhaust adapter flange
    • All required gaskets and hardware

    Fitment

Fits 1999.5–2003 Ford Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke trucks with build dates of 12/7/1998 and later. Does not fit early 1999 models (build date before 12/7/1998).

All gaskets and hardware are included for a complete DIY installation. This is a direct, comprehensive solution for owners who want to address both up-pipe leaks and EBPV issues in one job.

Wasn't impressed with the driver side up pipe

    Mike Burkel (MI) | April 24th, 2026
Everything went smooth but turbo seems to be in a little bit different position causing intake boots to be on slight angle and the driver side up pipe almost didn't seal to the manifold due to a bad angle.
